Welcome to Danbury Park!

Danbury Park Equitation is an Equestrian Centre at Somerville on the Mornington Peninsula (only 45 minutes from Melbourne via the Monash Freeway), catering for riders of all ages and skill levels.

Riders can learn on one of our well educated school horses, or can bring their own horse. We have facilities for riding indoors as well as outdoors, so all weather conditions are catered for.

Our services include the following: Riding lessons for private students or groups Day programmes (for children and adults) Horse riding camps during the school holidays Disabled riders (we are accredited with the RDA) Discounted equestrian equipment

Danbury Park Equitation is run by skilled and experienced instructors, with 34 years of teaching experience, and has been at its current location since 1986. We are also accredited to work with children as required by the Working With Children Act 2005 (for more information visit www.justice.vic.gov.au/workingwithchildren)

Danbury Park has taught hundreds of people to ride over the years, and our graduates include Melbourne Show winners, 2004/05 EFA Young Rider of the Year winner Cassie White, jockeys (such as Vlad Duric - winning jockey of the 2007 Caulfield Cup!), members of the Melbourne Hunt Club, and even stars of the Saddle Club TV series!
